35th Kennedy Center Honors Highlights in Washington D.C., December 3, 2012

The 35th Kennedy Center Honors presented awards to bluesman Buddy Guy, actor Dustin Hoffman, comedian and television host David Letterman, ballerina Natalia Makarova, and rock band Led Zeppelin for their contributions to the arts.

The recipients 35th Kennedy Center Honors were David Letterman, Dustin Hoffman, Buddy Guy, Led Zeppelin, and Natalia Makarova.

The three members of Led Zeppelin present — Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, and John Paul Jones — were touched emotionally by a heartfelt performance of “Stairway to Heaven” by Heart. Lenny Kravtiz and Kid Rock rocked the house with performances of Led Zeppelin music.

The Kennedy Center published highlight of the evening on December 21, 2012.
