San Francisco Giants’ Outfielder Cameron Maybin Was Crying and Apologetic During DUI Arrest in Scottsdale, Arizona

TMZ Sports obtained police footage of Cameron Maybin’s DUI arrest — which shows the Giants outfielder getting extremely emotional once he realizes he’s being arrested.

Cameron Maybin, age 31, was driving a 2015 gray Range Rover, when he was pulled over at about 2 a.m. Friday March 1, 2019. Police say Maybin was observed drifting from one lane to another and driving 55 mph in a 35 mph zone (and then 60 in a 40).

Police say Maybin smelled of alcohol and had bloodshot and watery eyes after consuming five “pretty big” glasses of wine at Ocean 44 in Scottsdale.. Maybin taken into custody, handcuffed and secured in the back seat of a police vehicle. His Range Rover was impounded and towed to a police holding area.

The Giants signed Maybin to a minor-league contract for $1.75 million February 18, 2019. He got his first two Cactus League hits Monday, March 4, 2019. The Giants had a day off Tuesday.

This is Maybin’s 12th year in Major League Baseball. He’s played for the Tigers, Marlins, Padres, Braves, Angels, Astros, and Mariners.
