Adam Sandler sings a tribute to his friend and Saturday Night Live alum Chris Farley on May 4, 2019.
Chris Farley died December 18, 1997 at the age of 33. Chris Farley was found dead by his younger brother, John, in his apartment in the John Hancock Center in Chicago. An autopsy revealed that Farley died of an overdose of cocaine and morphine, a combination known as speedball. Advanced atherosclerosis was cited as a “significant contributing factor” to his death, which has been compared to John Belushi’s death. The SNL alum and Farley idol, John Belushi, was found dead by his personal trainer Bill Wallace. Belushi was also 33, and died of a similar “speedball” combination of drugs.
